The Vario-ject Gear Pump can pump high viscosity polymer solutions against a pressure of up to 100 PSI. This pump is also driven by a variable speed gear motor which provides infinite control over chemical injection.

Gear Pump vs. Peristaltic Pump

Most chemicals be pumped with the Vario-ject Peristaltic Pump with the exception of highly viscous materials. These materials should be pumped with the Vario-ject Gear Pump because it will pump them more efficiently.

Application Example

The Chemstream Vario-Ject PeriPump system consists of a variable speed DC gear motor coupled to a Randolph-Austin peristaltic pump. This provides finely tuned control over chemical feed with no possibility for siphoning or waste. The only thing that comes in contact with the chemical is the inside of the tubing.

AMDTreat 252 is injected in the treatment building followed by the injection of EverFloc 200W at the head of the Aero-Troff. Both products are designed for outside storage throughout the year.
