Eliminate belt icing problems and fight "Old Man Winter" with a little Freeze Free. With Chemstream De-icing compounds and our patented Anti-Icing System your cold weather concerns are alleviated. This system prevents ice from forming on conveyor equipment. Chemstream anti-freeze solution is applied to the conveyer under low pressure through precisely configured spray nozzles. These nozzles apply the product so as to provide a residual coating on the belt. Usage is minimized by applying the product on a timed cycle (1 - 4 hour intervals). During each cycle, a spray is applied for a duration based on the time for the belt to complete one circuit. The system then shuts off automatically.

The Freeze Free System
The fully adjustable Freeze Free pumping module provides spray pressure to pump against a head of 150 feet if necessary. The spray nozzles can be mounted downward on a belt tail or upward against the underside of the belt.
The control module's remote bulb thermostat triggers the pump on. Then the cycle timer runs the pump through one complete circuit of the belt or longer. The timer then turns off the pump for a programmable amount of time - usually 1 - 2 hours. The pump is then turned on again for a preset amount of time to spray during the conveyor belt's circuit.
