Chemstream offers the following municipal water treatment solutions:

By providing on-site "hands-on" active service for the municipal water treatment customer, the total logistics of handling and dispensing chemicals is changed from your current procedures. We provide and install a Mini-Bulk stationary tank for your use of Chemstream chemicals at no charge. That eliminates drum and IBC tote tank handling at your plant. With the need for handling gone, potential product contact is greatly reduced, plant safety is improved and the cost of handling products is reduced. You will have more space available in your plant.Chemstream Dispenser Service
To address your chemical metering needs, Chemstream provides many brands of metering pumps at discount prices. If you qualify for the Mini-Bulk Program of delivery, your metering pump service and guarantee is for life. Following the initial purchase of the metering pump, Chemstream will repair or replace the pump at no charge with the use of Chemstream chemicals. In addition, Chemstream has a certified water plant operator on-staff to assist you with finding a solution to most any operational problem in your plant.
Precipitation and Alkalinity Adjustment
With Chemstream's experience in treating thousands of gallons per minute of discharge water from the mining and gas industries, we can hadle your TDS and TSS issues in your water. We have efficient chemicals such as liquid caustic soda and potassium carbonate that are registered as NSF Standard 60 compliant. These liquid chemicals are available in the Mini-Bulk Program. Chemstream's technical service can provide you with assistance in setting up dispensing systems that do not require any pre-mixing of the chemicals. Chemstream products for this purpose include Alka-Treat 250 and K-Alk 470 (NSF Standard 60 compliant).
Coagulation and Flocculation
Following pH adjustment, a Chemstream NSF Standard 60 coagulant and/or flocculant product can be used for rapid solids settling. These high quality products can be administered automatically and efficiently by flow-pacing the metering pump with the water flow. Chemstream can install and maintain these types of dispensing systems.
Separation and Clarification
Following coagulation and flocculation, solids are separated from the clear water by the settling or filtration process. Clarified water is produced as rapidly as the design of the total system allows. The clarified water can then be sanitized and the organic matter removed with the use of a sodium hypochlorite solution. Chemstream has ChemChlor 160 (NSF Standard 60 compliant) liquid "bleach" for this purpose. This product typically has 25% more active chlorine than other available products on the market for municipal use. Chemstream's Mini-Bulk Service and Metering Pump Guarantee apply to ChemChlor 160 as well.
